CB is a daily wedding blog celebrating preppy + polished style. I'm dedicated to showing brides how they can tastefully incorporate antiques {whether from Magazine Street or markets} in their wedding to create a uniquely sophisticated + timeless style. As a child, I grew up tagging alongside my Mom through dusty antique stores and European flea markets. I inherited my Mom's keen antiquing eye and together, we scoured the South for vintage treasures for my own wedding. Then a little dream came true and my husband's job whisked me back to Germany where I happily spent three years brocanting my way through Europe. Needless to say, I've clocked some serious 'tiquing miles and I'm so excited to be re-opening my CB Vintage shop soon where I'll be posting some of my favorite {wedding-themed} finds for sale! Hope I'll see you in the shop! ;)

About me / Sarah Darcy
I attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earned a Journalism degree in 2004 - my college sweetheart proposed the same year. Knee deep in wedding planning, my love of writing became public and personal when I began writing this blog in August 2007 as a way of gathering inspiration for our wedding. To date, my wedding and subsequent styling have been kindly featured in BridesWedding Style Guide, Southern Weddings, InStyle Weddings, Weddings Unveiled, Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, B Magazine, Matchbook magazine, Rangefinder and many blogs.

I'm currently living in San Antonio so if you hail from the Lone Star state {but even if you don't ...}, I'd love to hear from you! Drop me a note at theclassicbride@gmail.com.
